Cancer: the Metabolic Theory and Alternative Care

This page is devoted to presenting two things:
  • the "new" Metabolic Theory concerning the root cause of cancer (which many expect will replace the old Somatic Mutation Theory), and
  • the cancer treatments that are being discovered that address this new paradigm.
The Theories —
  • The Somatic Mutation Theory posits that cancer originates in damage to a cell's DNA.
  • The Metabolic Theory posits that cancer originates in damage to mitochondria (the energy creators of cells), and that one of the follow-on consequences of this is damage to the cell's DNA.
This implies that decades of research and treatment development have been addressing the non-root cause, perhaps explaining why so little progress has been made on so many fronts — i.e., we don't have a dependable cure for most cancers.

The simplest, most convincing evidence of a mitochondrial basis for cancer:
  • Inserting mitochondria from a cancerous cell into a normal cell makes it cancerous
  • Inserting a nucleus (DNA) from a cancerous cell into a normal cell does not make it cancerous

Tripping Over the Truth: How the Metabolic Theory of Cancer Is Overturning One of Medicine's Most Entrenched Paradigms

This book follows the roller-coaster ride that has been the history of research into the supposed somatic mutation cause of cancer — the seeming successes that eventually don't pan out, and the tragic expenditure of hundreds of billons of dollars that have taken us nowhere in the "War on Cancer" that started in the Nixon administration. Parallel to this, the book traces the sudden insights into a metabolic basis for cancer that started with the work of Paul Warberg in the 1920's, only to dim out and barely get resurrected by a series of brilliant but isolated scientists. It reads like a detective story. I had a hard time putting it down.

Read a key excerpt from the book.

The Treatments — The new treatments are aimed at the root cause. The proponents of these treatments are careful to say they can be used as adjuncts to traditional oncology cutting-chemo-radiation treatments, often ameliorating the negative effects of these traditional treatments. But part of this is aimed at opening opportunities for the new treatments that would otherwise be slammed shut by traditional oncologists.

The Independent Medical Alliance (IMA: https://imahealth.org; formerly FLCCC) is a large international network of doctors who came together during the Covid "Crisis" to share (and learn from each other) methods of treating the new disease. One of the founders of this network, Dr. Paul Marik, became interested in cancer because of the sudden surge in "turbo" cancers that arose in the wake of the push for adoption of the gene-therapy injections falsely labeled as "vaccines." A veteran of hundreds of scientific studies and research papers, he did a deep dive into the remarkable amount of prior scientific research and key book publications that provide evidence for the Metabolic Theory, a body of work that has been largely ignored ("suppressed" might accurately convey it) by the oncology profession. He wrote a major treatise on this (available online or from Amazon). This prompted his FLCCC-founding collage Dr. Pierre Kory to write a series of Substack posts about it. The two of them (and others) are now in the process of developing cancer treatments addressing this new paradigm. Dr. Kory and his colleague Scott Marsden are now treating patients using these.

Relationship of the COVID injections to Cancer
There has been an increasing prevalence of a phenomenon characterized by the sudden recurrence of previous in-remission cancers, or sudden appearance of advanced stage-4 cancers with no prior warning, often at younger ages that normal for cancers. These "Turbo cancers" only began appearing after the wide use of the COVID injections.
Research has shown that the mRNA-generated Spike protein interferes with the anti-cancer genes P53 and BRACA, and inhibits the Toll-like Receptors that are the front-line defence against the frequent appearance of cancerous cells.
But beyond this, residual DNA used to manufacture the mRNA has been found in the inoculant, carried in the lipid nanoparticles and thus into the cytoplasm of cells. Bacterial DNA in cytoplasm stimulates the cGAS-STING pathway which produces an Interferon response. While initially useful in fighting tumors, repeated stimulation of the pathway (i.e., with repeated "boosters") ironically increases the risk of tumors.

Jane McLelland had a long roller-coaster ride dealing with stage-4 cancer, but instead of giving up, delved into the cancer research in the literature, first in journals and article in the 90's, and then on the internet. Using the information thus gathered, she connected all the metabolic pathways involved in the formation and nourishment of the various cancers with the off-label drugs and supplements that specifically inhibit those pathways. This developed into her "Metro Map" for starving the cancer stems cells that conventional therapy can't get.
