I'm Lynn Bradbury, born and educated in this state. I've been coming to the fair for 25 years as a gardener and volunteer. After an intro which I hope provides some present day relevance, my associates Dick Atlee and Cheryl Curtiss will be speaking, respectively, on the collapse of the WTC towers and the hijacker conspiracy theory. We do not believe the official story for many good reasons, links to which you can find at our website Maine9/11Truth.org. and this Resource List. When official Washington lies, the media is supposed to aggressively ferret out the reasons why. Since, over the past 16 years, they have not and, indeed, on the contrary, have helped to cover it up, citizens have become journalists. The learning curve might have been steep, but there is now a plethora of truth seekers reporting online and in books what the controlled media dares not – and apparently cannot – tell you. Back at our booth is a two foot long collection of books on 9/11 and other deep state crimes against democracy that fair goers often photograph for future reference. It's by no means complete.

Years ago a good friend of mine, a B.U. journalism major, said to me in a rather aggressive tone: 'OK, so I believe Building 7, having not been hit by a plane, was blown up.' (In case you don't know, it collapsed in free fall for several seconds, something possible only with the use of explosives to remove all floor support simultaneously. This was late in the afternoon of September 11, 20 minutes after it had been announced on BBC as having already fallen.) SO,' my friend pointed at me: 'What are YOU going to do about it???' I replied, 'Right now I'm standing here telling you about it.'

In the face of media blackout, that's all any of us CAN do, until a majority of Americans understand, as many more world citizens than we here in America do, that the emperor has no clothes and deserves shame, ridicule, and replacement. WE as human beings first, and Americans second, must demand the truth we deserve.

There are plenty of handouts for you here and at our booth in the big Tent #2. Take a list of articles, books, documentaries, and reliable websites you'll never find positively mentioned in the New York Times , the Washington Post , or Maine Public. These latter outlets are war supporters that on vital geopolitical issues often promote falsehoods and omit truths. There's good reporting on some interesting topics, but rarely do these entities perform the task essential to democracy of keeping the public crucially informed or the truly powerful in check.

Self-described 'former Reagan Republican' architect Richard Gage did something several years ago that garnered the then fledgling 9/11 truth movement some much needed scientific credibility and thousands more adherents. How many here have heard of his organization Architects and Engineers for 9/11 Truth?

He began a petition drive toward a new, real investigation with subpoena power. Today, nearly 3000 building professionals and scientists have signed on, as well as 29,000 other ordinary, concerned citizens. It's motto, 'Build a better world with sound scientific research into the destruction of the three WTC buildings.'

As theologian David Ray Griffin exposed in one of his twelve 9/11 books, Lies and Omissions of the 911 Commission Report, we definitely weren't told the truth. Upon that we all agree. Not every outlandish theory put forth is scientifically credible and some ARE crazy, likely disseminated just to confuse people. This has been a CIA specialty for decades, since they first popularized the term 'conspiracy theorist' to deride those questioning the Warren Commission's JFKennedy assassination conclusion that Oswald was a lone gunman.

Similarly, there's good chance of CIA involvement with the sudden, post election appearance of that McCarthyesque website 'ProporNot,' patronizingly presuming to list 'fake news' sites controlled by the Russian government. It was a laughably transparent attempt to keep us from real news, since many of the websites listed are those we've long trusted, admired, and learned from: The Corbett Report (corbettreport.com), Prof. Michel Chossudovsky's Center for Research on Globalization (globalresearch.ca), Sibel Edmonds' Boiling Frogs Post (boilingfrogspost.com) and Newsbud (newsbud.com), Kevin Barrett's No Lies Radio (noliesradio.org), and Cheryl Curtiss' informative radio program 9/11 Wakeup Call (radio4all.net/index.php/contributor/4212), originating at the University of Hartford.

At all of these sites and more you can hear in depth interviews with whistleblowers whose personal testimonies contradict the official lies we've been told, such as fire and rescue workers at the WTC who heard repeated explosions, some before the planes hit, or who witnessed –molten metal running like lava and still hot months after the event.' In case you haven't heard, jet fuel does not burn hot enough to melt steel and it burned off in the first 20 minutes.

FBI personnel Sibel Edmonds, Colleen Rowley, and Robert Wright all testified that they'd tried to investigate and warn about Mideasterners taking flying lessons, but their higher ups squelched those investigations that could have stopped the attacks.

CIA asset Susan Lindauer had obtained prior knowledge of an attack. As a result of trying to warn about it, she ended up under indictment for 5 years, including a year confined at Carlisle Air Force base prison for women political prisoners because the story she kept trying to tell contradicted that being told by official sources.

Underwriters Lab chemist Kevin Ryan was fired for revealing that the WTC steel was sufficiently fire protected and should have withstood far more serious fires than occurred on 9/11. The towers' own architect reported they were designed to withstand penetration by a fully loaded 707, like a screen door being penetrated by a pencil. Fireman Eric Lawler reminded us that all fires legally must be investigated for presence of explosives, which was not done.

After Architects and Engineers' excellent documentary 9/11 Explosive Evidence: Experts Speak Out was shown on Colorado Public TV, its website experienced more views than had any other program in its history. Colorado Public is braver than most public stations, viewers having been educated by earlier documentaries, such as Press for Truth, is the story of the 9/11 widows / 'Jersey Girls,' whose persevering efforts finally yielded the commission we got, flawed as it was. They successfully kept Henry Kissinger from chairing. Chairmen Hamilton and Kean complained they were thwarted at every step and couldn't interview people they wanted to. Philip Zelikow, the Commission's staff director, devised the report's final outline before its first meeting.

Everyone sufficiently mature remembers the morning. When the second plane hit I realized: 'we're at war.' Cognizant of 500,000 Iraqi children dead due to 10 years of U.S. sanctions against a modern, prosperous country, I figured the attack was perhaps justified blowback.

Lighting candles with hundreds on a Florida beach the night before 2003's 'shock and awe' invasion of Iraq, I saw many tears. Millions all over the world commiserated with the U.S. immediately after 9/11 and now shared painful apprehension that war was not the answer to a crime. The Project for a New American Century neo-con think tank was filled with dual Israeli-U.S. citizens who ultimately staffed the Bush push to war with Iraq. Preoccupied with Iraq prior to Bush's presidency – PNAC, as it's known – wrote well BEFORE 9/11, a manifesto openly advocating total global military domination by the United States, saying the American people wouldn't support such military buildup 'absent a new Pearl Harbor.'

And then we got 9/11, with miniature American flags for every car and bombs over Afghanistan ready to go. Such a thing is not prepared overnight. That applies not only to the war, but also to preparation of buildings for destruction with nano-thermite explosives. Curiously, prior to 9/11, the Taliban had all but eliminated opium production, but by the end of the U.S. occupation's first year, it had soared through the roof.

Speaking of how the world really works, I'm reminded that Air Force Col. L. Fletcher Prouty asked the Okinawa Harbor master at the end of WWII if all the left-over munitions were going back to the U.S. He was told, 'No, half are going to Korea and the other half to Hanoi.' This was 20 years before the first Marines were sent to Viet Nam in '65, indicating the next war was being planned before the last one was finished. Likewise, our ally Russia was being turned into the next bogeyman even before the peace was signed.

Cui bono? One of the first questions some people ask when confronted with the fact that 9/11 wasn't as advertised is "So who did it?" We don't pretend to know, but in investigating a crime, motive is one of the key points – who benefited, and how? The list of such suspects is diverse.

NATO Gen. Wesley Clark reported in 2007 that ten days after 9/11 he saw in the Pentagon – a plan to take down seven countries in the Middle East in five years – Iraq, Syria, Lebanon, Libya, Somalia, Sudan, and Iran. These were express goals of the Neocons in the Bush administration. Israel and Saudi Arabia also felt this was desirable. Pakistan might have been involved. And certain private financial interests in the U.S. And war is always helpful to the military/industrial complex.

In trying to figure out whodunit, these must each be examined in terms of their abilities to manage some part of 9/11. We can offer information on this, but you'll have to draw your own conclusions.

Surrendering to the permanent war and terror economy is not the way to a peaceful, democratic future. A better way is to expose 9/11 as the false flag, phony excuse for endless imperialist wars that it tragically remains. As Lincoln said, 'history isn't history if it isn't true.'
